Dear MP,
Labour’s closure plans for the Post Office caused undue anguish and despair across Scotland, leaving many unable to access the postal service. 

We cannot afford to put the rest of our postal service in private hands.

The plans put over 193,000 jobs at risk, and threatens Royal Mail’s “universal service” obligation to deliver mail to every UK home. 

It is unacceptable for the legislation to be rushed through Parliament without consultation and is directly in contrast to the Labour manifesto of 2005, which promised to keep Royal Mail in the public sector.

I am asking you as my MP to vote against the legislation.
